When Yvonne and Bill tried Mexican food for the first time they had discovered something truly special and wanted to share it with the rest of Brisbane. After be-coming truly hooked on Mexican food they opened up Brisbane’s first Mexican Res-taurant in Milton in 1972. They eventually opened another store in Taringa in 1980 and then relocated to Jindalee in 2004. Yvonne’s extensive hospitality experience combined with Bill’s hard work ethic made Pepe’s a restaurant that has lasted well into the years. Offering delicious, tasty, affordable, hearty servings of Mexican food and using only the finest ingredients with generous serves of premium quality meats, FRESH vegetables and cholesterol-free pure canola oil. It’s easy to see why they’ve survived 39 years in the business with the help of our fantastic and loyal customers. Other family owned Pepe’s stores operate at Newmarket and Coorparoo.
